Balancing brand and place
Boston Consulting Group
Boston Consulting Group’s new Sydney workplace is a space that reflects the timeless and authentic values of the brand.
Like their Melbourne counterpart, the Sydney workspace incorporates design aspects that reflect its location. Elements of Sydney’s parks, water, architecture and materiality have all been carefully knitted into the design.
The relaxed and authentic nature of the brand is reflected through the warm-neutral colour palette, with textured sandstone and subtle pops of greenery.
The classic ‘BCG’ green has has been repeated throughout the space, encasing private offices and anchoring the design through the glazing of the central staircase railing.
Boston Consulting Group is a dynamic organisation, therefore our design had to adhere to the flexible nature of the brand. Our workplace strategy for BCG included incorporating a sublease area of 500sqm to accommodate for future growth and allow for unforeseeable changes in use of space and workstyles.
