Leveraging its true potential for our cities

The opening of Sydney’s new Metro line is just one piece of a larger city-shaping plan.

We must leverage the true potential of Metro as a catalyst to unlock extra density and amenity in areas around stations. Other global cities, including Paris and London, are taking this approach. It’s a long-term vision led by values-based planning, and not just an afterthought that follows on from new public transport infrastructure.
