New Sydney towers proposed to break city's height planes

This week it was revealed that the City of Sydney will endorse two new towers to break existing height limits.

 

Both towers will reach over 300m tall, smashing old vertical height planes. The proposals are welcomed by Bates Smart’s Managing Director, Philip Vivian, who spoke to the The Sydney Morning Herald about the need to densify our CBDs.

It is essential for our cities to reach new heights within designated cluster areas, and ideas like these promise a “confidence in Sydney’s CBD.”
