The Munro Development

Revitalising Melbourne’s Urban Fabric

A “genuinely mixed-use” development opposite Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market integrates community facilities and densely populated towers, activating the ground plane and enabling a wider precinct revitalisation.

We are honoured to have the Munro Development featured in the latest edition of Architecture Australia (AA).

This landmark project represents a 7-year collaboration between the City of Melbourne, PDG Corporation, and architects Bates Smart and Six Degrees.

‘Adjacent to Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market, the development is part of a wider precinct renewal project that will restore the market’s heritage while modernising its facilities and revitalising this part of the city’.
